I write to wholeheartedly endorse Representative Chris Malone for re-election to the North Carolina House of Representatives on November 8th. I have personally known Chris since his time on the Wake Forest Town Council, through his tenure on the Wake County School Board, and since his first election to the NC House in 2012. Chris has always kept the concerns of the citizens of Wake County first. His work in public service is to be commended. I urge all my Wake County friends, especially if you are in House District 35, to support Chris in any way they can. Chris needs your help in many ways, in your neighborhoods, on social media, and of course in your generous donations. I count Chris as a friend, and I hope you do too. Wake County is fortunate to have a selfless public servant like Chris Malone and I know that he will continue to serve you in the best way he can. I offer my support and endorsement with no reservations. As your Wake County Register of Deeds, I am thankful to have Chris as a part of the Wake County delegation of elected Representatives in the legislature. He, and they, work hard for Wake County and for you. I know that if our office ever needs anything from the Legislature, Chris is available, accessible, and extremely helpful.
Laura M. Riddick, Wake County Register of Deeds
I wish to provide my unconditional support for Representative Chris Malone for reelection to the North Carolina House of Representatives in House District 35. For as long as I’ve known Chris, he’s been a servant leader for North Carolina, Wake County, and in particular Wake Forest and the northeastern part of the county. If there is anyone in the county who loves their job as much as I love mine, it’s Chris. I know that Chris has only the best interests of North Carolina and his constituents in mind. Chairman Malone has always been helpful and supportive of our efforts in Law Enforcement. Whenever we call the Wake County delegation about an issue, Chris is always one of the first to respond. I know I can count on Chris and you can too. I offer my endorsement of his candidacy without reservation and I urge you to support him as well.

Representative Malone receives endorsement from Professional Fire Fighters
First Responders appreciative of Malone’s commitment to them
For Immediate Release
Raleigh, NC – Today Representative Chris Malone, a second term member of the NC House, received the endorsement from Raleigh fire fighters represented by the Raleigh Professional Fire Fighters Association and the Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics of North Carolina.
“Firefighters in Wake County are proud to stand with Rep. Chris Malone in his re-election this year,” said RPFFA President Keith Wilder. “He has shown over and over again his commitment to our profession and our livelihoods, and we are proud to show him our commitment to his leadership in the NC House.”
Malone is known as a go-to legislator in the General Assembly for first responders, including Raleigh police officers. He has worked tirelessly protecting public safety officers and their families from retaliation from gangs and drug lords. Malone also helped include a provision in the state budget this year that provides a $50,000 Line of Duty Death benefit for certain “firefighter cancers”.
RPFFAA and PFFPNC represent the paid and professional firefighters and EMS workers throughout North Carolina.
Representative Malone responded by saying, “I am honored by the endorsement of the Raleigh Professional Fire Fighter’s Association and the Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics of North Carolina. Our society absolutely needs our first responders and all too often their selfless service is overlooked and taken for granted by the public and the government. I have made it a continuing priority to understand the unique needs and situation of the first responders, just by listening and responding to them, and to try and have our laws and our budgets reflect our commitment to those who walk and run towards danger on our behalf. These men and women demonstrate courage in a way most of us will never understand. As General Norman Schwarzkopf once famously said, “True courage is being afraid, and going ahead and doing your job anyhow. That’s what courage is.” I salute these true American Heroes.”
Representative Malone represents House District 35 in Northern Wake County, including Wake Forest, Rolesville, Zebulon, Wendell and Raleigh is in his second term in the House and is also the Chairman of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Committee.
